Creative directed and shot a variety of photographic assignments internationally since the 1980's. Richard focuses on producing original photographic art for the commercial and private sectors on a direct-hire basis. Available worldwide from Western Europe.
Commercial 'creative sector' clientele base includes advertising and media agencies, business corporations and publishers. High profile assignments include various publications in Vogue and Arabian Knight magazines, as well as a variety of billboard and print campaigns for airlines, banks, designers, five star hotels/resorts and jewellers.
Richards personal project work involves documentary photography, which challenges his spontaneous creative perception and technical ability to react. The precision required in shooting a variety of specialist assignments on colour film, honed his eye and brought him to appreciate the classic elegance of traditional black and white 'street photography'. The Chance Encounter Image Project documents 'Captured Fractions of A Second of Reality'. Shot on medium format negative-film to create (non-manipulated) original black and white images, with the classic Hassleblad 'V' system.
Richard plans to embark on a MA Photography Research Degree in Autumn 2010.
The Photographic Art Company supplies original fibre art prints to commercial galleries and private collections.
